New regulation control the services provided at accommodations
According to the new government regulation; The hotels should provide other services besides accommodation, and at least 11 rooms and 21 beds should be maintained.
The regulation covers all accommodation forms, such as hotels, campings, huts, community facilities and village accommodations specifying the minimum level of services.
The latest available statistics shows, that in Hungary there were 869 hotels, 52 thousand hotel rooms and 118 thousand beds at the end of August 2009, with a further 1100 pensions which had 15 thousand rooms with 38.500 beds – reports MTI.
