In its new commercial, Nespresso brings together George Clooney and Jean Dujardin again
It’s been eight years since George Clooney and Jean Dujardin got into a funny feud in How far would you go for Nespresso? in a commercial film. The two actors now meet again in the action-packed continuation of the iconic spot, and this time the duo is joined by the extremely talented Camille Cottin, who appears in a Nespresso commercial for the first time. In the brilliantly entertaining film, the stars show that they are willing to do almost anything for a delicious Nespresso coffee, thus raising the question for the viewer: What would you do for the unforgettable taste of a Nespresso coffee?
The new commercial, which will debut in more than 20 European countries from November 14, is a further development of the basic idea of 2014: in the current story, George Clooney offers Jean Dujardin to make him a cup Nespresso, but suddenly realizes that he only has one capsule left. As befits a comedy, Clooney pulls the rug out from under Dujardin’s feet to get the last dose, only to lose the capsule and it flies through the open window and lands on Camille Cottin’s balcony. The pair must team up to touch the capsule, so Jean Dujardin lowers Clooney in a rattan chair along the wall all the way to Cottin’s apartment. The plot continues to get complicated, and now Camille Cottin has to get back her freshly made Nespresso coffee, which George Clooney brazenly stole. I wonder what will come out of this?
