Shopify rolls out a new POS hardware
In an effort to take on PayPal and Square’s solutions on its mission to elbow into the bricks-and-mortar retail sector, Shopify has unveiled a new point-of-sale (PoS) technology. The new ‘PoS Go’ allows retailers to accommodate their shoppers both online and in-store.
A major advantage of the hardware is that it would help brick-and-mortar retailers continue to adapt to shoppers’ changing needs and preferences. Shopify hopes that PoS Go will help retailers connect with customers shopping in different ways, no matter the merchant’s size.
