A new mall opened in Arad

Arad’s first shopping center, the Atrium Center officially opened at 5 pm yesterday. The shopping center situates right beside the central railway station, which is the most important railway junction to southern Transylvania.

In the 70-million project the Budapest and Bucharest-based Atrium Centers was responsible for development and operations. Arcadom, was the constructor, while the Budapest-based Casiopea Group was also involved in the project.
Between 2007 and 2008, the development about eight shopping center was announced in Arad, but the Atrium Center Arad is the only one of these, which has been handed over – reports portfolio.hu.
