New online service from Auchan
Auchan’s new service, the pre-assembled package order, has been launched and will arrive to the customers on the second working day after the order. The store chain offers three types of fixed packages for those who can’t or want to go to the store, but don’t want to wait for the increased home delivery time in an emergency. In addition to the basic food package, they offer a set of cleanliness items and a mixed set that can be ordered from the company’s webshop.
In the emergency caused by the epidemic, shopping habits have changed significantly. In the area of basic foodstuffs and cleaning products in particular, two or three waves of acquisitions could be experienced, which placed a huge burden on the chain of stores. The volume of online orders has also increased more than ever, as many people avoid contact with others for their own safety, so they ask for products at home instead of in-person shopping.
