Starting from this year, a more beautiful and bigger main stage is serving international stars. In order to fulfill a wish by Prince, the new venue will also be expanded by a ten-meter long runway.

More 30 vans have delivered the building blocks and light- and sound eqipments of the festival's main stage to Hajógyári-island. The stage does not only get a new look this year, but its size is going to change, too. These changes are not taking place to please Pince, but the artist is going to get a ten-meter long runway as he has asked for. According to the original plans, the Main Stsge is going to be expanded by a 100-100 m2 side-runway on both sides. The edifice weighs over 200 tons. Another change is that the projection-wall on both sides of the stage will be doubled, so you will be able to watch the gigs on two 60 m2 screens. Lighting technology is also unique on this stage, no other place in Hungary has ever gathered so many intelligent lamps. Prince is going to add even more extras with a led-cage consisting of 96 lamps in the background. Howver, you cannot complain about the sound either. In order to have an even more perfect sound, now – instead of two – four delay-towers are going to make gigs even more enjoyable for the audience, thanks to the newly improved, top quality digital Meyer Sound-equipments. The stage has, by the way, been viewed by Prince's crew as well, and they found it appropriate for the gig of the 7 Grammy-winner artist.

On the minus first day, the main stage is going to be ruled by Geszti and his fellow-musicians, with songs by Első Emelet, Rapülők, Jazz+Az and Gringo Sztár, and then on the next day, on 9th August Prince is coming with his greatest hits. Afterwards, you will face five festival-days, with five international performers every night on the main stage. Among many others, you will be able to enjoy the gigs of Pulp, The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Thirty Seconds to Mars in front of the beautiful, new Main Stage, where even the area itself is bigger than before to please the growing audience.
