According to the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH), the new sales method raises a number of food safety and traceability issues.

The department store chain told Agrárszektor.hu that the company is testing the new marketing method in its Óbuda-based hypermarket. The new marketing method is expected to be extendet to Auchan’s Budaörs-based unit as well. After the assessment of the experiences a decision will be born, whether to extend the bulk selling of eggs to the other stores. (agrarszektor.hu)
