Auchan opened new logistics centres

Auchan Hungary maintained their 2009 level of gross sales revenue on a contracting market. In the past 12 months the company opened 12 new stores. Last year the company opened a fruit-vegetable logistics centre in Budaörs and a bazaar logistics centre in Üllő. With these Auchan can serve their customers better and reduce environmental burden. Average prices in Auchan slightly reduced if compared with the previous year. Auchan has 750 Hungarian suppliers and 85-90 percent of products are Hungarian made. Last year Auchan helped the flood victims living around Miskolc and the victims of the red sludge, but the company also cooperated with the Hungarian Food Bank and the Red Cross.
