A new era in streaming: 2.4 million Hungarian gamers and brands meet
Publicis Groupe Hungary has joined the inStreamly platform as an exclusive partner in Hungary, bringing unique, interactive advertising opportunities to the world of live gaming streaming, the popularity of which exceeds the combined size of the traditional music and film industries. Thanks to the collaboration, clients of the country’s largest creative, media and digital agency can integrate their campaigns into live broadcasts on popular platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, reaching the ever-growing Hungarian gaming communities.
The gaming industry in Hungary is experiencing explosive growth, its popularity already exceeds the combined size of the traditional music and film industries: according to TGI 2023 research, nearly 2.4 million active Hungarian user base clearly indicates the power and opinion-forming importance of gaming culture in the country. Generation Z is of particular importance, for whom gaming is not only relaxation, but also a social experience, making the platform a truly relevant medium for them. The most popular games include FIFA, Call of Duty and Minecraft, which regularly attract Hungarian gamers. In addition, the average daily gaming time of domestic gamers is approximately ten minutes longer than the average in the Central European region, which clearly demonstrates the activity and strength of engagement of domestic gamers.
This is why the cooperation between Publicis Groupe Hungary and inStreamly is a huge milestone: thanks to the latter’s technology, clients can use unique advertising formats that discreetly, yet effectively fit into the interaction between streamers and their viewers. Animated banners are created separately for each campaign and automatically adapt to the streaming environment, the game, or even the topics that appear during the broadcast. In addition, an automatically generated chat message is also displayed as part of each campaign, providing a direct link to the advertiser’s website. With this technology, ads can appear on hundreds of channels at once, maximizing the reach and impact of micro-influencers.
“We are proud that Publicis Groupe Hungary has become inStreamly’s new exclusive partner in Hungary,”
said Jakub Janaszek, Global Partnerships Director at inStreamly.
