New trading houses will open in the Carpathian Basin
The Hungarian government will expand the network of trading houses in the Carpathian Basin – the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations announced in Budapest on Tuesday, at the Foreign Economic Relations meeting of the ministry.
Szijjártó Péter told that the system of trading houses promote the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The geographical and cultural proximity of the SMEs are more likely to compete for orders in the Carpathian Basin. The minister told that the government would like to significantly increase the export of the Hungarian SMEs, because the internal production organizing decisions of the large international companies – such as the elimination or relocation of a production unit in Hungary to another country have unhealthily large impact on the Hungarian export performance.
