Borsodi encourages celebration with a new campaign during the championship
With a new campaign, the Borsodi Brewery encourages Hungarians to support the Hungarian national football team together with their friends during the 2024 European Championship. Borsodi, as the official beer of the national team, “The team together!” wants to strengthen community support with an initiative. The campaign started at the end of May and is particularly focused on the decisive match against Germany on June 19.
In the framework of a joint partnership with the Hungarian Football Association, Borsodi strives for more than a simple sponsorship. The company is actively involved in strengthening fan culture, and during the campaign places special emphasis on promoting social experiences. The marketing director of the Borsodi Brewery, György Spiegel, said that football is deeply rooted in the company’s DNA, and they would like to be able to directly contribute to the national team’s success.
As part of the campaign, Borsodi sent a video message to the heads of domestic companies with the participation of two selected players, Ádám Nagy and Zsolt Nagy. In the notice, they are asked to release their employees on time on June 19, so that they can reach the joint supporter locations on time from anywhere. With this step, Borsodi launched an initiative aimed not only at fans, but also at strengthening workplace communities, hoping that other companies will also join the initiative.
