Lindt brings out its popular Easter chocolate in a new format
With Easter approaching, the famous chocolate manufacturer Lindt has announced its latest and boldest venture: the launch of a new bar version of the iconic Easter milk chocolate, “Gold Bunny”, in Australia. Called “Gold Bunny Block”, the product offers a new format, but retains the classic flavors that have made the manufacturer famous worldwide.
The chocolate bunny board version is available to Australian consumers in gold packaging, decorated with a red ribbon and a small gold bell. The price of the product will be HUF 1,800 and will be available in major retail chains in Australia.
Thomas Schnetzler, Lindt’s master chocolatier, said that this product gives a convenient, new format to the well-known and loved Easter candy. The Golden Bunny has been on the market since 1952, and now the manufacturer is modernizing it with the introduction of the Gold Bunny Block.
Lindt’s decision to introduce the Gold Bunny Block is based on the results of a study conducted by the chocolatier to map the chocolate purchasing preferences of Australian consumers. The research highlighted that people prefer to buy chocolate for their own consumption, even in a bar package.
