New Eucerin Study: Alliance Against Aging
Even though women do not like to admit that they undergo beauty treatments, there is no doubt that minimally invasive anti-aging treatments and wrinkle filler injections are a mega trend. More than three million treatments were carried out worldwide in 2010 and the trend is rising. However, validated knowledge about the interaction of cosmetic skin care products and wrinkle fillers is rare. This prompted Eucerin® to intensify its collaboration with anti-aging medicine experts and put the focus on the best cosmetic products to support wrinkle filler treatments with hyaluronic acid by conducting a unique skin study.
“Our clinical studies are always conducted to the highest quality standards, reflecting the ethical principles of our Eucerin brand. For this Eucerin® HYALURON-FILLER study we went one step further and selected a design that is generally used in the pharmaceutical industry for drug testing,” said Stefanie Conzelmann, Head of Product Development at Eucerin®. “The results surpassed our expectations by far and provided clear visible proof that the effect of hyaluronic acid injections administered by dermatologists is visibly enhanced if the wrinkle filler treatment is supplemented by products in the Eucerin® HYALURON-FILLER range.
