Tranzit-Ker Zrt. of Debrecen was one of the debutants at the fair; their annual turnover is HUF 8-10 billion. Head of Tranzit-Dió Kft. (a member of the group), Péter Szabó told us that hey had been exporting goose and duck meat to Edeka in Germany for four years. They also sell 420-430 tons of walnut per year, mostly in Germany. Balaton Nektár’s president László Plótár told that they were presenting high quality Hungarian honey varieties. Their annual production is 150-180 tons. Imre Pacsay, commercial director of Balaton-Hús (Kistelek) was hopeful that this year they would find partners for their sausages – in previous years they did not manage to, despite the high number of stand visitors.
