At the same time as the appointment, Yiannis Kesisoglou, the former Sales Director of Coca-Cola HBC Hungary, who has been in the company’s management since 2019, will continue his work in a new, group-level assignment.
The duties of Sales Director were taken over by Márton Vajda from December 2025, who has proven himself in several commercial management positions at Coca-Cola HBC Hungary over the past twenty years as a regional manager and category marketing manager, and was responsible for the premium alcohols and coffee business as a member of the company’s management between 2018 and 2023. He is credited with the re-introduction of the coffee category into the company’s full beverage portfolio, the consolidation of coffee brands in the domestic retail and Horeca markets, and the doubling of the premium alcohols business results. Under his leadership, the company became the largest imported premium alcohol distributor in the domestic market. The experienced professional later tried his hand in an international environment, managing the integration of Finlandia Vodka in Poland and the Baltics in the period preceding his appointment, and later as a regional business development manager responsible for the premium alcohol portfolio in nine countries.
In his new role, Márton Vajda will work on the high-level operation of Coca-Cola HBC Hungary’s sales processes and the development of customer relationships, contributing to the further growth and business results of the beverage manufacturer operating with production bases in Dunaharaszt and Zalaszentgrót.
“It is an honor for me to take over the management of the sales team 20 years after I joined the company as a junior. I feel fortunate to work with talented colleagues and inherit a stable business from my predecessor, Yiannis Kesisoglou, under whose leadership outstanding results were achieved in terms of both sales indicators and customer satisfaction. I am leading an organization where we share the belief that business results can only be achieved through consistent, value-based everyday work. As Sales Director, my goal is to further strengthen the customer-centric approach, develop the next generation of managers and support effective cross-functional cooperation”
– said Márton Vajda regarding his appointment.
