A new life around fifty
Sándor Juhász had spent 27 years in the kitchen of Margitszigeti Nagyszálló. He decided to find a new job last year. – There are many things I have to thank Nagyszálló for, but I felt it was time to move on. He had also appeared regularly in the TV program Receptklub and attended the most important competitions as well. – The hostility between generations is an open secret in the profession. While young chefs have a lot of ambition, they often lack knowledge, and the opposite is true for older chefs. He felt ambition and when he was contacted by the owners of Boom and Brass, ha said yes, because he had shared their ideas about gastronomy. Now, he has everything at his disposal to be able to make his old plan for reforming traditional Hungarian dishes come true.
