New student discount at SPAR: cooperation with Diverzum
SPAR Hungary is the first retail chain to sign a cooperation agreement with Diverzum, the largest platform offering domestic student discounts. As a result of the cooperation, from September 2, students can take advantage of discounted shopping opportunities in SPAR, INTERSPAR, City SPAR, SPAR partner and SPAR market stores, in nearly 500 locations across the country.
Thanks to the new agreement, more than 200,000 students can use the SPAR coupons available through the Diverzum application, which can provide significant support in reducing everyday costs. According to Márk Maczelka, head of communications at SPAR Hungary, this collaboration is the most influential initiative to date, which directly helps students in their everyday lives.
“We find that there are growing differences between wealthier families and families that spend more wisely. For a long time, we have been looking for the opportunity to be able to offer a student discount that will noticeably help take the burden off students’ shoulders”
Maczelka said.
László Miklós, co-founder of Diverzum, added that the purpose of the cooperation with SPAR is to support students, for whom the discounts available during everyday shopping can be a serious help.
