Andrea Szabó Andrea was appointed marketing director of Tchibo Budapest Kft. in April 2007. She has 12 years of experience in FMCG marketing. She started her career with Dr. Oetker, later she spent 7 years with Sara Lee, then joined Pepsico in 2004, where she was responsible for the brands Lay’s and Cheetos, including trade marketing tasks. Tchibo is not influenced by investors from the stock exchange, which means they can pay more attention to long term, systematic development – she says. This will allow consequent, strategic marketing activity to be built up. She would like to work out a medium term marketing strategy which would enhance the positions of the Tchibo House brands by making maximum use of international guidelines and synergies. She also intends to intensify trade marketing activity.
