New store concept from Delhaize
Delhaize launched a new concept supermarket: there is a so-called ‘quick route’ and in the Fresh Atelier fresh ready-to-eat meals are available. The new store is the outcome of a thorough analysis of customer needs, and is a complete diversion from Delhaize’s classic store design. After the store in Nivelles, the retailer plans to open another 8 shops in the same format by the end of this year, and 36 more by the end of 2019.
