With the support of Unicum Riserva, the new series of performances by the beck@grecsó formation debuted in March, in which literature and music meet timeless character and tradition. As a highlight of the initiative aimed at nurturing Hungarian culture, the Unicum House, which is 20 years old this year, will also host the program.

The new series of performances by Krisztián József Grecsó, Attila Award-winning Hungarian poet, writer and songwriter, and Zoltán Beck, the founding songwriter and frontman of the band 30Y, entitled “Love is Peace”, started on March 30, 2025, in which the two creators guide the audience through their own spiritual journey through personal stories, prose, poems and songs. Unicum Riserva also joined the production, thus strengthening the brand’s commitment to culture.

As part of the collaboration, several performances will include drink tastings and exclusive events, the series of which was opened by the premiere held at the Katona József Theatre in March. However, the two artists will not only take to the stage in the theatre, as the most important stops of the traveling production will also include the Unicum House, which is celebrating its twentieth birthday in the autumn. The date of the next performance is already around the corner, the venue of which will be the 18th Ördögkatlan Festival: the beck@grecsó duo will perform in the Szoborpark in Nagyharsány on July 31.

“love rod peace”

The beck@grecsó formation is a unique artistic collaboration that dates back many years. The latest production by Zoli Beck and Krisztián Grecsó, “love rod peace”, is an ironic and uplifting spiritual inventory in which the two artists take stock of the past, their heritage and their adolescent selves living alone. The performance changes and takes shape every time, emphasizing the openness of the creative process. The experience of diversity is further enhanced by the support of Unicum Riserva, thanks to which the cultural event is also accompanied by gastronomic programs.

The collaboration was announced by the two creators on the evening of the premiere, where they ceremoniously toasted with a glass of Riserva on stage. What made it even more memorable was that the audience could join them: they could taste the Unicum drink specialty, talk to the artists, and even ask for autographs for exclusive coasters designed for the performance. This intimate, personal experience perfectly suited the spirit of the beck@grecsó evenings – it was at once direct, thought-provoking, and lasting.
