A surge in voucher use
Rewin has had an excellent start to its first full financial year, after taking over Edenred’s voucher business in early November 2023.

Since the beginning of January, businesses can cut their wage-related costs with a low-tax allowance, which can be given to employees 3 times a year. As a small value gift, an individual can now receive a net benefit of HUF 80,040/year, taxed at a much lower rate than wages, either in the form of a gift or a voucher.
“We know from partner feedback that employers choose to pay their benefits in Rewin vouchers, because they make it possible for employees to spend on what they really need”,
says Attila Pásztor, Rewin’s head of acceptance point relations.
Rewin’s latest research reveals: 53% of companies planning to give a small value allowance to their employees this year and nearly 61% will do it in the form of vouchers. (x)
