Flammable cigarettes were recalled in Canada
The regulations stipulate that cigarettes manufactured or imported in Canada may not burn more than 25 percent of their length on their own, and Viceroy cigarettes, as they do not meet the requirements, present an increased fire hazard. “Cigarettes dropped on furniture, bedding, or other textiles can cause a fire,” Health Canada said in a statement.
