World Tourism Day: guided tours, sightseeing tours and spa visits in Budapest
Guided tours, sightseeing tours, guided walks and spa visits are also open on Friday and Saturday in Budapest for the World Tourism Day.
At the initiative of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the tourism sector has been celebrating World Tourism Day every year since 27 September 1980.
Bán Teodóra, Managing Director of the Budapest Festival and Tourism Center (BFTK), said at a press conference in Budapest on Friday that by celebrating World Tourism Day, in cooperation with its partners, the BFTK will organize a special day of tourism this year again. In addition to museum and colorful city programs, discount car rentals, castle tours and light painting are included as well. (MTI)
