All accommodations are assigned a uniform star rating by the tourist agency
The amendment to the Tourism Act before the National Assembly will classify all accommodation establishments in Hungary from one to five stars according to uniform criteria, said the CEO of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) in the official podcast of the organization.
Guller Zoltán emphasized that the aim of the change is to provide guests with reliable quality, regardless of whether they are visiting a hotel or a private accommodation.
He emphasized that the new rating system, which operates in more than ten countries, will start in January 2022, and the costs of the rating will carried out free of charge by the travel agency until 2024. (MTI)
