Hungarian Tourism Agency: Hungarian tourism set a new record in 2019

Last year Hungarian tourism set a record again, with the number of guests in commercial accommodation reaching 12.8 million and the number of overnight stays reaching 31.3 million.

Revenue from commercial accommodation increased by 9.2 percent year-on-year, with total accommodation revenue exceeding 550 billion HUF, which is an increase of 8.8 percent compared to 2018 – according to the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH). (MTI)
