Roundtable discussion on tourism and hospitality at BKIK
For the initiative of the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BKIK), a professional round table was set up in 2017 to discuss the problems affecting tourism and hospitality. The Hungarian Catering Industry was also invited to the event.
At the meetings the MVI was represented by Kovács László (Chairman), Semsei Rudolf (Vice President) and Zerényi Károly (Consultant). In recent months the participants of the professional roundtable have dealt with the problems of the VAT regulation affecting hospitality, the possibilities of reducing tax on representation. The MVI has prepared a number of background material and concrete suggestions for discussing the issues.
