Spain has never received as many tourists as in 2015
Spain has never received as many tourists as last year, when a total of 68.1 million people visited the Southern European country, 4.9 percent more than in 2014 – the data of the Spanish Statistics Office (INE) was published on Friday.
More than 15.7 million tourists arrived from the UK last year. They are followed by the French, with 11.5 million and the Germans with 10.3 million tourists.
In Spain, the vast majority of the potential tourists are looking for relaxation and leisure time, 58 million people traveled for this purpose to the Mediterranean country last year. (MTI, Fehér Krisztina)
