Regulations are too strict in the hospitality industry
The Kaledonia Scottish pub was shut down for 60 days for a minor offense in Budapest. According to the survey, carried out on behalf of the restaurant, the majority of the 18-64 year olds found the punishment too strict, and most people believe that the authorities should have been imposed larger fines in such a case.
Under the Excise Act, catering units can have only 1 open bottle 1 liter or larger packages of alcoholic products per product range. The authorities closed the Kaledonia Scottish pub in the 6th District for violating this provision, and the fine was closure for 60 days.
