Lidl already has more than 700 stores in Italy
Lidl has more than 700 stores in Italy, following the opening of 42 new outlets during its 2021-2022 fiscal year, which ended on 28 February. In March the discounter celebrates 30 years of operating in Italy, with its first outlet opening in Arzignano in 1992. In the last fiscal Lidl spent more than EUR 35m on opening new stores.
