Scientific compass in logistics: Logistics Yearbook 2026 published

The Logistics Yearbook 2026, the latest volume of the scientific publication published by the Hungarian Logistics Association (MLE) for decades, debuted on December 11. This year, it contains a total of 19 studies, spanning more than 300 pages. It is one of the national compasses of the logistics profession, but also an important tool for educating future generations, which is why scientific and educational institutions, as well as competitive market players, regard it as a unique and important scientific work.

The Logistics Yearbook, published annually by the Hungarian Logistics Association (MLE), is a collection of professional studies that is one of the highest-level scientific professional publications in the domestic logistics sector. Thanks to this, its authors and creators – including the members of the editorial and review committee – are made up of the most prominent professionals in the world of logistics year after year. The studies included in the so-called “A” category publication are supplemented with a DOI number registered by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, thus supporting scientific life and the education of future generations, and also contributing greatly to the development of the logistics professional community.

“The goal of the Logistics Yearbook remains the same despite the many changes surrounding us. To share the latest research results and professional and practical experiences in the field of logistics with those interested in the field. The first Logistics Yearbook was published in the mid-1990s, and this year the 31st debuted”

– said Dr. Zoltán Doór, President of the Hungarian Logistics Association (MLE).

More instead of 300 pages, 19 studies in 4 chapters were published.

The choice of topics was free for the authors this time as well, thanks to which the articles published in the book can well reflect the current interest of logisticians in the individual areas.

The Hungarian Logistics Association (MLE) continues to aim to make the Logistics Yearbook a prestigious publication that provides publication opportunities for researchers, engineers and economists working in logistics in Hungary. The Logistics Yearbook 2026 debuted during the Advent period

The Logistics Yearbook 2026 was presented in the Tapolczai Kálmán Hall at the headquarters of the Hungarian Logistics Association (MLE). The book was published, as usual, under the auspices of the Hungarian Logistics Association (MLE), which has received several Business Superbrands and MagyarBrands awards. The Yearbook presentation event, held on December 11, 2025, started with speeches by Dr. Zoltán Doór, President of the Hungarian Logistics Association (MLE), and Dr. Szabolcs Duleba, Editor-in-Chief of the Logistics Yearbook. Afterwards, the audience was able to get to know the publication enriched with the following author presentations:
