Food conscious minority
According to a survey by GfK Hungária Market research, people who choose food consciously are still the minority. 58 per cent of the 1000 people interviewed believe that they eat perfectly normally and automatically get all the nutrients they need. 29 per cent of the group only eat what they like, even if they know its is not very healthy and only 13 per cent pay attention to keep a balanced, healthy diet. 88 per cent of the group said that they are not interested in any of the bio, fitness, wellness trends. Most people are confused about the meaning of “bio-products”.
