Hungarians are eating more consciously than 5 years ago
A representative survey by K&H, conducted with 600 participants, has revealed that Hungarians eat more fruits and vegetables, and more Hungarian-made groceries than in 2013. István Tresó, the head of K&H’s agricultural sector development division told: when buying food, the main priorities for Hungarian consumers are quality and the price-value ratio, but place of origin, the best before date and Hungarian product ingredients are also important to them. He added that Hungarians are now more conscious in what they are eating and they have started consuming healthier foods. Dairy products and meats can become more important in our diet in the future, as experts say that food products with a greater added value will gain ground in the decades to come. //
