Hair dye sales growing
Sales of hair dyes continue to expand. According to Nielsen data, sales exceeded HUF 6 billion in the November 2006–October 2007 period, with growth of 12 per cent. Consumer prices also rose by 3 per cent. Sales are increasingly concentrated, with drugstores holding a 54 per cent market share. Hyper markets are holding on to their 32 per cent market share. The 401-2 500 square meter stores account for 5 per cent of sales, while traditional, 400 square meter and smaller stores have a 9 per cent market share.
