Focusing on food chain safety
The Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO), thus the entire food chain supervision is directly subordinated to the Minister of Agriculture as of October 1, 2020. In the future, Dr. Lajos Bognár (CVO) will be responsible for the management of food chain safety in Hungary. He reckons food chain safety a field that affects all of us. The protection thereof, as well as the development of protective tools are of special importance and in the interest of the society and the nation’s economy, particularly in times such as the recent COVID-19 pandemic. //
