The Germans continue to be confident
The economic mood index of the ZEW (Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH) in February decreased by 2.6 points to 17.8 points, compared to the previous month, but it surpassed the market analysts’ expectations of 16 points.
According to the survey, the performance of the German economy will rise in the next six months, due to the increase in household consumption and due to the export demand growth. The February survey also showed an increase in inflation expectations. The survey was published on Tuesday. (MTI)
