Starbucks expands in Portugal
Over the next two years growth will be concentrated in the Lisbon area and from 2011 onwards the company will look to expand in Oporto.
US coffee chain Starbucks has said that
it wants to double its store network in Portugal in 2009 to six
stores. Luis Mello, Head of Operations for Starbucks Portugal, said
that the past year had been "very positive", as the company
surpassed expectations in terms of attracted clients and generated
revenue.
