Retail sales continued to grow
Retail sales in July were 5.4 percent higher than in the previous year. Calendar effect adjusted the growth was 5.3 percent, according to a first estimate released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Wednesday.
According to the adjusted figures, the sales of non-food and durable consumer goods increased by 9.2 percent. In mixed food and food retail trade, the volume of sales increased by 2.2 percent, compared to July last year. Fuel stations’ traffic volume was 5.6 percent higher than one year before. (MTI)
