Czech retail sales continued to grow
In August, retail sales in the Czech Republic increased by 3.7 percent year-on-year. In July, the figure was 7 percent- according to the Czech Statistical Office in Prague.
In August this year, there was one business day less than last year, showing a calendar-adjusted increase of 4.6 percent.
On a monthly basis, calendar adjusted growth in August was 0.1 percent. (Kokes János, MTI)
