Further increase in U.S. retail sales
In September, retail sales increased by 0.6 percent in the U.S.A. – announced the U.S. Trade Ministry, on Friday afternoon. The fresh data is a pleasant surprise, because analysts expected a 0.4 percent monthly increase previously.
U.S. retail sales are increasing for the third month. It seems, the assumptions of economists that the price reductions and actions further intensify the demand, came true.
Beside the better-than-expected September datas, another favorable news is that the ministry of trade has improved the turnover data of August from the previously 0.4 percent growth to 0.7 percent – reports portfolio.hu.
