The rise in agricultural prices accelerated further
In April, agricultural producer prices were on average 45.7 percent higher than a year earlier, with the pace of price increases accelerating by 8.3 percentage points compared to March, according to the latest data from the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
Producer prices for crop and horticultural products have risen 49.3 percent since April last year, with livestock and animal products becoming 36.9 percent more expensive on average.
The purchase price of cereals increased by 64.9 percent in one year, while that of industrial crops increased by 68.5 percent, of which oilseeds by 71.7 percent. (MTI)
