Lidl further reduces plastic waste
Lidl Magyarország has a long-term commitment to reducing plastic waste, so in line with this approach, it will offer its customers reusable bags for the packaging and transport of fruit, vegetables and bakery products in all 185 stores from 5 November 2020.
Customers who choose this environmentally friendly solution will make a major contribution by reducing their ecological footprint and thus their plastic consumption. In addition to the introduction of reusable bags, the company also continued to optimize the packaging of its products by switching to alternative materials or using less plastic, which also contributed to a sustainable economy.
