Nestlé’s exports in momentum
Nestlé Hungária Kft. acquires 60 percent of its net sales revenues from in foreign markets. The company has developed three of its Hungarian food manufacturing plants into regional manufacturing centers, so its products can reach 46 countries of the world from South Africa to Chile.
The company’s exports this year may receive a further boost. In the autumn, the company’s pet food factory in Bük will be handed over. The Nestlé Hungária Kft. closed a successful year in 2016. Net sales exceeded 125 billion HUF. The company in 2016 produced over 230,000 tonnes of product in Hungary, of which nearly 90 percent was exported. The multinational company’s “external balance” is positive, As calculated in tonnes, fifteen times more goods are exported to foreign markets than they import into the country.
