The proportion of domestic foods in stores decreased to its historical minimum in Slovakia
The proportion of domestic foods in stores in Slovakia decreased to a historical minimum of 39 percent in Slovakia in April this year – the survey of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce (PKS) reveals.
The representative data of the GfK market research agency’s survey carried out in 360 stores in Slovakia among 16 major product categories revealed that in 2011 – since the first survey – the proportion of domestic foods in stores steadily declining in Slovakia. While during the first survey it was 50 percent, now it is only 39 percent. (MTI, Starovic Tibor)
