Historical and gastronomical festival in Esztergom

Esztergom’s largest gastronomy, family festival the Tastes-Eras-Moods begins Friday afternoon. At the festival traders can learn about the 17th-century Bocskai era – the organizers informed MTI.

The three-day event will host a knightly tournament in the Erzsébet Park. Anyone who wants to take part in the events can wear the outfit of the warriors or join the camp life.

On Saturday, the teams will compete for the Food of Esztergom 2019 title. The prepared meals will be judged by a professional jury. The winners receive a prize of two hundred thousand forints and their food can be tasted in the city for a year. (MTI)
