Törley: gold medal in Berlin
The 16th Berliner Wein Trophy, international wine competition took place in Berlin between the 4th and 7th of February. The contest jury tasted more than 3,000 samples and a total of 1136 medals have been handed out.
Two Hungarian product received Gold Medal. One was the Törley György-Villa Winery’s 2007 György-Villa Collection Villányi Merlot wine.
The Villany Merlot is one of György-Villa wine Family’s red pillar. Thanks to the ripe grapes, due to the barrel and bottle aging, a fruity, ripe tannined, rich red wine has been created.
