TOP 50 marketing and TOP 50 PR managers: women at the forefront

This year, female top managers were at the top of both communication top lists, the rankings including marketing managers and PR managers, according to the compilation of the Marketing&Média communication magazine. A quarter of the participants in the list of marketing managers prepared for the ninth time, and 20 percent of the participants in the ranking of PR managers compiled for the second time, were replaced. Based on the votes of the professional jury, Zsófia Bánhegyi, commercial director of Szerencsejáték Zrt., became the first of the marketing managers, and Zsuzsa Beke, head of group-level PR, SCR and government relations at Richter Gedeon Nyrt., was chosen to top the top list of PR managers.

Marketing&Média presented the big guns of the Hungarian communication industry twice this year in a ranking of 50. Based on the votes of a jury made up of key players in the market, the ranking of TOP 50 marketing managers was completed for the ninth time, and the list of TOP 50 PR managers was completed for the second time. Simon Krisztián, the editor-in-chief of Marketing&Média, highlighted that: while cost optimization was the main challenge for communication managers during and after the coronavirus epidemic, in the past year the top managers of the profession had to adapt to new technologies and the environment, such as the effective integration of artificial intelligence. among its priority tasks. The lists are typically dominated by the communication managers of large companies, many of whom had a decisive role in their campaigns this year for two major summer sports events, the soccer European Championship and the Olympics. In addition to the use of current events for marketing purposes, a trend that can be observed year after year is that campaigns related to social responsibility play an increasingly important role. The editor-in-chief added: in addition to professional qualities, team building and effective management of activities, good leaders are also characterized by the fact that they place great emphasis on the training of new employees and participate as active contributors in professional forums.
