Tokaj and Sonoma will be sister towns in memory of the Hungarian founder of the Californian winery
The sister town agreement was signed by Joanne Bouldt Sanders mayor of Sonoma City and by Májer János mayor of Tokaj.
Tokaj and Sonoma established sister town relationship on the 200th birthday anniversary of Haraszthy Ágoston, who was the Hungarian founder of the Californian grape production and winery – Kálmán László Consul General in Los Angeles told MTI on Saturday. (Pogár Demeter, MTI)
