Eggs Association: large-scale egg production increased in the first half of the year
Large-scale egg production increased in the first half of the year by around 20 percent to 586 million eggs, compared with the same period of last year.
The large-scale egg producers are expected to produce 1.25 billion more eggs this year – Molnár Györgyi, the secretary of the Hungarian Egg Producers’ Association told on the occassion of the World Day of Eggs, adding that the Hungarian population may consume 2.3-2.5 billion eggs this year. (MTI)
