The Hungaricum tender receives additional funds
In view of the great interest, the Ministry of Agriculture provides additional funds for this year’s hungaricum tender. Thus, a total of 325 winning applicants received HUF 677 million in funding thanks to the 2023 tender.
The Collection of Hungarian Collections and the Hungarian Valuables Museum are real success stories, because the collection of valuables and their placement in the National Value Pyramid system has grown into a movement. Across the country and across borders, it moved both the older and the younger to search for the unique values found in their narrower surroundings. In this way, they can be included in the local, county, foreign national or sectoral treasure troves, and then among the Hungarian treasures. Today, we register 12,000 local values, 150 outstanding national values and 87 Hungarian properties.
The reserve list can access resources
After the adoption of the Hungarian Law in 2012, the Ministry of Agriculture calls out a tender every year for the collection and wide dissemination of our national values. In view of the great interest this year, the ministry is providing additional resources of HUF 227 million for the 112 applicants on the reserve list of the 2023 tender. Thanks to this, 305 winning applicants won more than HUF 634 million in support for the organization of events and the production of electronic publications, websites, photo series and films. The 14 winning applicants will receive almost HUF 40 million in funds for the organization of contests aimed at promoting the values of Hungarian culture. And in the III target area supporting the culture of dress, 6 winning applicants received a grant amount of HUF 2.5 million. Together with the applicants on the reserve list, a total of 325 winning applicants will receive HUF 677 million thanks to this year’s call.
