French government vs. chain of stores
The French Ministry of Economy denounced 9 large chains with the charge of abusing of suppliers. Six of the chains are distributing primarily food products.
The French press has been informed that proceedings initiated against Auchan, Carrefour, Leclerc, Casino, Cora, and the Systeme. The French central authorities (DGCCRF) that fight against commercial fraud, consumer protection and competition law, after the screening of thousands of contract, found more than 500 clauses suspicion of abuse – reports Népszabadság Online.
